Lexmark Platinum Pro905 – a photo-friendly all-in-one that deserves reliable ink

Lexmark Platinum Pro905 (also searched as Lexmark Pro905, Pro 905, PRO905 or Lexmark Platinum Series) is a versatile inkjet multifunction printer designed for everyday home and small office printing. It’s valued for sharp text, vivid colour output and comfortable operation when you print documents, graphics and occasional photos. To keep this device working smoothly and to maintain consistent quality, choosing the right ink for Lexmark Platinum Pro905 is key—especially when you print often or want predictable results page after page.

What makes ink for Lexmark Pro905 important in daily use?

The Pro905 uses the Lexmark 100 / 100 XL cartridge family, available in black (BK) and colour: cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y). The “XL” versions are designed for higher yield, which is why many customers choose ink for Pro905 in XL when they print regularly. Properly selected cartridges ensure:

• clear, crisp text for invoices, schoolwork and office documents,
• balanced colours for graphics, charts and photo prints,
• stable printer operation with fewer interruptions,
• better cost control—especially when using multipacks or XL variants.

In this category you’ll find ink cartridges for Lexmark Platinum Pro905 in Original OEM, Compatible and refill-related solutions, plus fluids for cleaning that help when printing quality drops due to clogged nozzles or dried ink.

How to choose the right ink cartridge for Lexmark Platinum Pro905

When selecting ink for Lexmark Pro905, start with two simple questions: how much you print and what you print most often.

• Print a lot? Choose 100 XL cartridges or CMYK multipacks to reduce replacements and improve convenience.
• Mostly documents? Focus on black (BK) and consider a multi-pack or larger black set.
• Photos and colour graphics? Keep C/M/Y stocked—multipacks help maintain colour balance and avoid sudden shortages.

Original OEM vs compatible ink for Pro 905: OEM cartridges are produced by Lexmark and are a great choice if you want the manufacturer’s solution. At the same time, our compatible cartridges from the DrTusz.pl offer are designed to deliver print quality and reliability that are as good as the originals—while giving you a more budget-friendly way to print. If you’re unsure which route is best for your needs, we encourage you to compare capacity (standard vs XL), your monthly print volume and whether you prefer buying singles or sets.

Common printing issues with Pro905 and how cleaning fluid can help

Inkjet printers like the Lexmark Platinum Pro905 can sometimes develop typical issues, especially after longer breaks in printing. Customers most often report:

• white lines or missing colours (partially clogged nozzles),
• faded prints after the printer hasn’t been used for a while,
• uneven colour blocks or streaking,
• smudging due to wrong paper choice or heavily saturated prints.

In many cases, a proper maintenance routine helps. Alongside using fresh ink cartridges for Lexmark Platinum Pro905, it’s worth considering a dedicated solution like Specialistic Fluid for Cleaning Heads Lexmark 250 ml (Uniwersalny)—especially if built-in cleaning cycles aren’t enough or you want to restore smooth ink flow. Regular printing (even a quick colour test page) also helps prevent drying in the head.
