How to choose the best ink for printer Epson Stylus DX8450
When selecting ink for Epson DX8450, start with your printing habits:
Mostly text and invoices? Choose an extra T0711 black (single or multipack) and keep a spare at home.
Mixed colour printing? A T0715 multipack (compatible or OEM) is the easiest and usually the most economical choice.
Need consistent colour for graphics? Many customers go with Original OEM, but our compatible cartridges from DrTusz.pl are designed to deliver results that are just as good as the originals—clear text, strong blacks and vibrant colours.
Another important factor is convenience: multipacks reduce the risk of running out of one colour unexpectedly, and they help keep your printing workflow uninterrupted.
Original OEM vs compatible cartridges – the real differences
We often hear the question: “Should I choose OEM or compatible ink for Epson Stylus DX8450?” The decision usually comes down to preference and budget:
Original OEM Epson cartridges – manufacturer solution, consistent output, great for users who prefer sticking to OEM supplies.
Compatible cartridges – a smart alternative for everyday printing. Our compatible ink cartridge for Epson Stylus DX8450 is built to fit and work properly in the printer, offering excellent quality at a better price per page. For many customers it’s the best balance of performance and savings.
Refill components & maintenance – for users who want to extend printer life and keep print quality stable, cleaning products can be a game changer.
Typical DX8450 printing issues – and how cleaning fluid can help
Inkjet printers like the Epson Stylus DX8450 can sometimes show symptoms such as:
missing lines or faded areas (often clogged nozzles),
uneven colours after a longer printing break,
streaks or patchy prints.
In many cases, using a printer’s built‑in cleaning cycle helps. If the problem persists, a dedicated product like Specialistic Fluid for Cleaning Heads Epson 250 ml (Uniwersalny) can support maintenance and restore proper ink flow. It’s a practical addition if you print irregularly or want to keep the head in top condition.
