How to choose the best ink cartridges for Canon TM-205
When selecting ink cartridges for Canon imagePROGRAF TM-205, we recommend checking a few practical points before adding items to your cart:
Confirm the cartridge code: many customers search by printer name, but matching PFI-120 or PFI-320 and the colour (MBK/BK/C/M/Y) ensures a perfect fit.
Choose capacity to match your printing volume: if you print frequently, higher-capacity options can reduce interruptions and improve workflow.
Decide between Original OEM and compatible: OEM for strict corporate requirements; compatible when you want excellent quality and better cost control—our compatible cartridges are built to perform like originals.
Don’t forget maintenance supplies: a timely replacement of the MC-31 waste ink tank and care for the printhead can prevent unexpected downtime.
Common user issues with Canon imagePROGRAF TM-205—and how the right supplies help
Users of the Canon imagePROGRAF TM series typically want to avoid three things: interruptions, inconsistent colour, and line defects. The most common topics we hear about include:
Print interruptions due to a full waste ink tank – keeping a spare Canon MC-31 on hand is a simple way to stay productive.
Nozzle issues after periods of inactivity – using proper inks and, when needed, a dedicated cleaning fluid helps maintain smooth output.
Unexpected colour shifts between jobs – consistent cartridge choice (OEM or a trusted compatible set) helps keep results repeatable.
We encourage you to treat ink and maintenance items as one system: the better matched your ink for Canon TM-205 is to your workload, the more stable your results will be.
