Original OEM Drum Unit Samsung CLT-R809 (SS689A) is the heart of your Samsung laser printer’s imaging system—designed to transfer toner onto the page with precision, page after page. Dear Customer, if you rely on consistent, professional-looking documents, this original drum unit helps keep your prints sharp, clean and evenly filled, even during heavy office workloads.
Unlike toner, a drum unit does not contain powder. It is a separate component responsible for forming the image on the drum surface and guiding toner onto the paper. When the drum wears out, you may notice fading, streaks or background shading—replacing it with the OEM CLT-R809 restores the printer’s ability to reproduce fine lines, smooth gradients and crisp text without compromises.
With a yield of up to 50,000 pages (at 5% coverage), the Samsung SS689A drum is built for long runs and predictable maintenance planning. We ship every order carefully protected for transport, so it arrives ready to install and get you back to reliable printing fast. You’ll also find matching toners in all four colours and a waste toner tank under Related products, making it easy to complete your maintenance set in one place.
