Compatible Ink Cartridge PGI-72GY for Canon (6409B001) (Gray) by DrTusz is a smart choice for Dear Customer when you want controlled, nuanced grayscale printing without overpaying. Designed for Canon PIXMA photo printers, this compatible ink cartridge helps you keep your workflow smooth—whether you print exhibition photos, monochrome portraits, or subtle shadow transitions in everyday projects.
Because it’s a compatible cartridge, we focus on what matters most: reliable performance and quality comparable to the original, so you can print with confidence from the first page to the last. The gray ink is perfect for refining tonal gradations and reducing color casts in black-and-white prints, giving your images a more natural depth and cleaner neutrals.
With a capacity of 15 ml and an estimated yield of up to 165 pages (at 5% coverage), PGI-72GY is ideal for regular printing sessions as well as occasional photo work. We also carefully protect every parcel for transport, so your cartridge arrives ready to install and ready to create.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Buying an original printer cartridge often turns out to be a huge expense, exceeding the price of a new printer. So when making a purchase, it’s worth considering the availability of compatible cartridges.
Generic cartridges bearing the DrTusz logo are made from high-quality, specially selected, and tested components available on the market. These cartridges deliver the highest print quality, indistinguishable in any way from prints made with original cartridges.
Additionally, our compatible replacement cartridges are covered by the “Golden Warranty”
program—a warranty valid for the entire lifespan of the cartridge. A key benefit of this program is a quick, hassle-free, and effective claims process.

It’s worth noting that the stated yield is determined in accordance with ISO standards, which influence how the number of pages is measured.
