Ink cartridges for HP Photosmart C5390 - compatible and original OEM

Ink for HP Photosmart C5390 – a reliable all‑round home photo printer

HP Photosmart C5390 (also found as HP C5390, HP Photosmart C5300 Series or code Q8295B) is a popular inkjet multifunction designed for everyday printing, copying and scanning at home. It’s valued for convenient operation and solid photo quality, especially when you use the right ink for HP Photosmart C5390 and keep the cartridges in good condition. In this category we’ve gathered everything you need: compatible and Original OEM ink cartridges, plus a dedicated printhead.

What ink cartridges does the HP Photosmart C5390 use?

The HP Photosmart C5390 works with the HP 364 family (standard and XL). This system uses separate colors, so you replace only the color that runs out—practical and cost‑effective. You can choose between standard capacity for occasional printing, or XL for better cost per page when you print more often. When you’re looking for ink for HP C5390, pay attention to the color and capacity (standard vs XL), and whether you print mainly documents or photos.

In this category you’ll find inks for:

• Black – crisp text and everyday documents
• Cyan / Magenta / Yellow (CMY) – color graphics and school/home prints
• Photo (Foto) – smoother tonal transitions and better photo gradations

Compatible vs Original OEM – choose what fits your needs

We offer both Original OEM and compatible solutions, so you can match your printing style and budget. Original OEM cartridges are produced by HP and are a safe choice for users who want to stay with the manufacturer’s solution. At the same time, our compatible ink for HP Photosmart C5390 from DrTusz.pl is designed to deliver print quality and reliability comparable to originals—while keeping costs under control.

Main differences you may consider:

• Price per page – compatible cartridges are usually the more economical option, especially in XL capacity.
• Printing volume – for frequent printing we recommend XL versions or a multipack to avoid interruptions.
• Photos vs documents – if you print a lot of photos, consider adding the Photo (CB322EE) cartridge to enhance tonal smoothness.

How to pick the right cartridge (and avoid common issues)

If you’re not sure which ink for printer HP Photosmart C5390 to choose, start with your printing habits. For occasional use, standard cartridges can be enough. If you print often (school materials, invoices, longer documents), the XL versions usually provide better value.

Common user issues with the HP Photosmart C5390 / C5300 Series include:

• Faded prints or missing lines – often caused by dried nozzles; a cleaning cycle helps, and if the issue persists, consider the printhead HP CN642A.
• Colors look incorrect – check if the right color cartridge is installed and run alignment; replacing only the depleted color helps maintain consistency.
• Printer not recognizing a cartridge – reseat the cartridge, gently clean contacts, and ensure you’re using the correct HP 364/364 XL type for the model.

We encourage you to keep a spare black or a CMYK multipack on hand—nothing interrupts work faster than running out of ink mid‑print.
